ST. JOHN BUILDERS

The St. John Builders was formed to help those in need by providing house building and maintenance assistance.  Activities vary according to the project, but can involve maintenance (carpentry, plumbing, electrical, general labor) or house building.  St. John Builders have also organized work trips to Mississippi to help those in need from Hurricane Katrina.

MISSION ADVENTURE 2009:  "Piedmont Triad Workcamp"  

Where:   Lexington, NC

When:  June 13th ~ June 20, 2009

Who:  Sr. High Students, Young Adults under 21, and this year's 8th grade Students

Estimated total cost of trip per participant:  $795.00.  Each participant is responsible to pay $275.00.  The difference is covered through the generous support of people in our community.  Please contact Cindy Snyder at youth@purpledoorchurch.org for more details.  Please donate now.  Your donation will help finance this mission project.  Thank you for your generous support.                                           
PARISH HEALTH MINISTRY

Our mission is "Making the Love of Christ Know through activities and opportunities that nurture the body and spirit of the faith community".  We would like to purchase these pieces of fitness equipment to provide our members with access to equipment to improve their physical fitness.  Your donation will help make this possible.  Thank you.
